Each year, the Wisconsin Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (WI-IAAI) recognizes one “Fire Investigator of the Year” based on their work and successes in countless fire investigations.
This year, Acuity Insurance’s Special Investigator Joel Clausing has been awarded after his work done at a business fire in southeastern Wisconsin.
Clausing has been working with Acuity since 2016 following his career as a Deputy Sheriff and a Detective in the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
At Acuity, he is part of their Special Investigations Unit which studies possible arson-related crimes.
Both Acuity and WI-IAAI personnel congratulate Clausing on his achievement and recognize his hard work and persistence to protect customers from facing insurance fraud.
