It was not a good day for the Kiel Baseball team making its first appearance at the WIAA State Tournament in Grand Chute.
The Raiders were defeated 10-0 this morning by St. Croix Falls in the first Division-3 semifinal at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
The linescore was 10 runs on 8 hits and 2 errors for the Saints.
No runs, just 4 hits and 4 errors for Kiel.
The Raiders end their outstanding season with a record of 24 and 3.
Meanwhile, in Division-2 this afternoon, the Denmark Vikings, who are the two-time defending state champs, play a semifinal contest against Jefferson at approximately 3:30.
