The Manitowoc Bandits are now 2 and oh in the Shoreland League.
The Bandits earned a 5-3 victory over the Kewaunee Chiefs last night in their home opener at Municipal Field.
Carter Stebane, a former Brillion High School athlete, led Manitowoc offensively with a 2 RBI base hit in the 7th inning.
He also scored in the first inning after a leadoff base hit, a pair of stolen bases, and an RBI groundout by Jaicee Foster.
Evan Duncan chipped in a pair of hits in 3 at-bats while Ky Mueller was the winning pitcher.
Ky allowed only 1 run on 5 hits with 9 strikeouts before Brandon Black came on to get the save with 4 punchouts.
