Bank First has announced plans to expand into Sturgeon Bay.
The Manitowoc-based bank says that the branch will be located at the northeast corner of Egg Harbor Road and State Highway 42/57 and will be an eco-friendly structure.
This would be the 29th branch in the state, but the first in Door County.
This is the second major expansion announcement for Bank First since their recent merger with Hometown Bancorp which went into effect on February 10th.
They also announced a new location in Reedsville last month, with A.C.E. Building helping to renovate the building located at 100 Mill Street.
