In Two Rivers, City Manager Greg Buckley has confirmed the renovation extension for local business, Wine Not LLC.
The business received an investment from the city to redevelop the old UniMart lot at 2023 Washington Street after the land was foreclosed by the county two years ago.
Due to structural issues, the renovation has been delayed for another 3 months so construction crews can rebuild the northern part of the building.
Buckley explained to Seehafer News, “They could use a little extra time because the development agreement called for completion by September 30th.”
The City Council did unanimously approved extending that completion to December 31st.
Buckley stated this development will be a part of Two Rivers’ downtown “revitalization movement”.
