The historic Village Square building in downtown Manitowoc is for sale by its current owner.
Anton Doneff Sr. of Doneff Companies LLC, said he’s listed the property at the corner of 8th and Franklin Streets with Amy Townsend of Berkshire Hathaway/Starck Real Estate.
Following a recent contact by Seehafer News, Doneff told us during the weekend that the decision was made after “a previous building restoration plan did not come to fruition.”
However, the local developer explained while the building remained in a holding period during that time, he received “many inquiries from interested buyers both from within and outside of the local community.”
Doneff said a couple of showing dates will be held to give prospective developers the opportunity to take a closer look at the building.
