Ryan Steinhoff has been handed a sentence that ensures he will spend the remainder of his life behind bars.
Following the murder of Bruce McGuigan in 2020, a judge in Dunn County delivered a verdict yesterday, imposing a life sentence without the possibility of parole on Steinhoff.
During the investigation, authorities discovered McGuigan’s lifeless body inside a mobile home in Downsville.
Disturbingly, evidence indicated that he had endured hours of severe beatings and potentially even torture involving a blowtorch.
Another individual involved in the case, Ashley Gunder, entered a plea of no contest and is presently serving a 25-year prison term.
A third suspect faced trial but was ultimately acquitted by a jury.
