The Manitowoc Bandits picked up their 8th win of the season last night over the Branch Blaze.
The Bandits spotted their Shoreland League opponent an early 2-0 lead before coming back for a 15-to-2 rout of the Blaze at Municipal Field.
Manitowoc tied it in the bottom of the first and then exploded for 7 runs in the second, highlighted by a Brandon Black 2-run homer.
Lucas Mandich also homered and went 4-for-4 while Ky Mueller was 4-for-5 at the plate.
Mueller also was the winning pitcher with relief help from Jacob Gallagher.
The Bandits improve their overall record to 8-and-4, including 6 and 1 in the Shoreland standings.
