Preparations are continuing for the upcoming Manitowoc County Fair which will run from August 23rd through 27th.
The fair will feature a daily sea lion show, fireworks on Wednesday night, a tractor pull on Friday, and the Third Annual Woman’s Day Event on Saturday.
The Manitowoc Fairest of The Fair competition will be held on August 26th with applications due on August 1st.
The Fairest of the Fair will become the official ambassador of the Manitowoc County Fair, will attend parades, personal appearances, and speaking engagements, and will receive a $1500 scholarship.
The Manitowoc County Fair will have $10 daily admission that includes all rides and exhibits, as well as a $6 senior citizens admission and $6 Veterans admission that does not include rides.
