Some more details have been released regarding a weekend arrest at the Southfield Townhouses in Manitowoc.
Seehafer News has received the arrest report from the Sunday morning incident, which states that the suspect is a 27-year-old male.
Officers were dispatched to the townhouses at around 12:45 Sunday morning on a report of a man with a gun that had chased the caller.
When the officers set up a perimeter around the housing units, they made contact with the victim, who described the man, who she said is a Milwaukee resident.
The victim reportedly asked the man to leave, as he was previously ordered to have no contact with them, which is when an argument ensued.
During the argument, the man allegedly cocked a handgun, which led the victim to go to a neighbor’s house.
The man was not located initially, but the neighbor called the police when the man returned at around 3:30 a.m.
The man was arrested without further incident on charges of Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence enhancer as a repeat offender, Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
The victim is being aided by InCourage.
As is our policy, we will not release the name of the suspect until he has had his bail hearing and the charges are officially filed.
