Saturday night proved to be a remarkable occasion for the Madison Mallards, starting off with an impressive feat even before the first pitch.
In a unique display, distillers combined 500 oranges, 325 gallons of various liquids, and 239 one-liter bottles of Wollershiem brandy inside a specially crafted inflatable glass.
This creation earned the title of the world’s largest brandy old fashioned.
To commemorate this achievement, fans had the opportunity to purchase a cocktail served in a collectible glass.
Additionally, the Madison Mallards took the field under the name “Old Fashioneds” against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, using the occasion to celebrate the record-breaking accomplishment.
The event added an extra dose of excitement and novelty to the game, offering fans and attendees a chance to participate in a memorable experience.
