With Independence Day now here, people are celebrating all along the lakeshore. Kicking off the celebration in Manitowoc will be the annual Fourth of July parade at 10:00 a.m.
The parade will start at the Courthouse Pub and travel through the city, ending at the Manitowoc Yacht Club.
Festivities will continue at numerous locations throughout Manitowoc, including the Manitowoc Yacht Club whose celebration starts at 10:30 with food and drinks.
Also, starting at 10:30 the band All In will be playing until 2:00 with kids’ activities to follow. Located in the YMCA parking lot from 10:00 to 4:00 will be vendor booths, food trucks, and kids’ activities.
The Wharf Manitowoc will also be hosting music by The Blue Cheese Combo at 2:00.
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum will be holding festivities throughout the day as well starting with live music by the Chicago Mule at 10:45 and will open its Sub Pub at 11:00.
They will host numerous other music groups throughout the day, including but not limited to, the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra Jazz Ensemble at 12:00, the Manitowoc Marine Band at 2:00, and Rising Phoenix at 7:00 who will end their celebration at 11:00 p.m.
Closing out the night located on the Manitowoc Lakefront, Festival Foods will hold its fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Two Rivers begins their Fourth of July celebration at 5:00 p.m., starting with family activities, games, and concessions, as well as their flag-raising ceremony at 7:20.
Following the ceremony, the Two Rivers Community Band will be playing at 7:25, and continuing after this will be the Clipper City Chordsmen at 8:50.
Ending the celebration in Two-Rivers will be the firework show held at 9:30 p.m.
