59-year-old Van Hendricks has received a bail of $1,000 cash after allegedly threatening to cut off a woman’s head.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 9 pm Monday night in response to a disorderly conduct call.
Hendricks had been reportedly drinking all day and threatened the woman with a 35-inch sword.
He is facing charges of Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Disorderly Conduct (each with domestic violence enhancers) and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Conditions of bail include no contact with the victim, or the witnesses involved, no possession of dangerous weapons, and absolute sobriety.
Hendricks is due back in court tomorrow, July 6th, at 10:30 am.
