Athletes and teams from 466 high schools across the country are participating at the 2023 USA High School Clay Target League National Championship this week, held at the Michigan Trapshooting Association in Mason, Michigan July 5th-9th.
This year, 48 Wisconsin schools are participating, most notably, Valders, Denmark, and Mishicot high schools.
There will be a series of qualifying events that lead to the final round which will award the top ten male and female athletes, as well as the top five teams in the country.
The USA Clay Target League has over 47,000 participants this year, where it offers trap, skeet, sporting clays, and 5-stand leagues to middle and high schools all over the country.
