Progress Lakeshore is working with Wisconsin Broadband Office to create a survey for households across the state, whose information will help structure the state and Manitowoc County’s internet planning.
The purpose of the survey is to provide reports for inclusion to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission.
It is called the Wisconsin Internet Self-Report (WISER) survey, complete with a speed test that will capture “the complexity of residents’ experience with internet service or lack thereof” so that both Progress Lakeshore and the Wisconsin Broadband Office can accurately advocate for broadband needs.
This will improve internet access and make it easier for everyone to understand the costs and usage of the internet.
The survey will be confidential.
