Two Rivers has received a $50,000 grant to help with the cost of its Central Park West renovation project. The grant is from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s Vibrant Spaces program, which is designed to help cities and towns revitalize underused spaces to build community and attract future residents. City Manager Greg Buckley said “Improving and expanding these types of amenities adds to the quality of life for those living here and adds another dimension to visiting and spending time in downtown Two Rivers.”
The Central Park project is nearing completion. It has included a new stage for musical performances, a splash pad, a skating loop for winter ice skating, and a pavilion with accessible public restrooms and a public rental space.
