A local supporter of foster families is celebrating 5 years as a registered non-profit organization as well as an expansion to their building space.
Lakeshore Foster Families and Friends is a non-profit organization working to support foster and relative placement children as well as the families who care for them by raising awareness and providing the needed resources to support them.
The organization continues to grow in both the services provided as well as the families they reach.
With this additional office space, they will be able to better serve their families by continuing to have their dedicated “care closet”, however, the space will also be used to facilitate support programs.
They will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 25th at 4:00 p.m. at 1011 Washington Street in Manitowoc.
All are welcome to attend, as well as stay for some light snacks, and refreshments, and explore the new space while learning more about the organization.
