An online gardening course is being offered by the UW Extension.
The course titled “Growing and Caring for Plants in Wisconsin: Foundations in Gardening” is a complete-at-your-own-pace course designed for anyone looking to boost their gardening skills.
The class running from September 10 to December 9, 2023, will teach participants “key concepts for selecting, growing, and maintaining plants” with 14 online videos from Extension specialists, readings, and other resources.
Additionally, four optional online labs will be held via Zoom for a deeper dive into “important course concepts” for an added fee.
Early Bird registration runs July 17 through August 14 for $299 and includes a digital version of the manual.
Those in need of financial assistance can access limited scholarships during Early Bird registration as well.
