The WeatherTech International Challenge took place this past weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake.
The event has been named one of the country’s most significant vintage racing events.
This year the WeatherTech International Challenge ushered in the renowned Kastner Cup to Road America as the featured marque, known for its association with Triumph sports cars.
The winner of the Kastner Cup would turn out to be Tony Garmey from Buckley Washington with his 1967 Triumph TR250K.
Other winners of their respective races would include the Modern Prototype in which Robert Blain from Janesville Wisconsin was the champion with his Honda ARX, and the Vintage Production race with Colin Comer, from River Hills Wisconsin, placed 1st with his 1958 Austin Healy Sprite.
This event was truly a memorable one, with fans and racers interacting in the paddock areas swapping stories, and sharing their love for cars and racing.
