A group of four children are said to be ok following a scary situation on Lake Michigan over the weekend.
The children, ranging in age from 10 to 13, were playing in the lake with pool noodles and other floatation devices at Kohler-Andrae State Park when they were pushed too far out by heavy winds.
A witness called 9-1-1 at around 3:30 p.m. and the Sheboygan Coast Guard station was called in to assist.
The crews were able to quickly get to the group and pull two of the children onto the boat while the other two swam to safety.
Also responding to the call was the Sheboygan County Dive team and several local fire departments.
No injuries were reported.
