Additional charges have been filed against a Manitowoc woman connected to a drug overdose death from back in May.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Green Street on May 13th, where the deceased individual was found in a basement bathroom.
Sylvia Richmond, who called in the overdose, admitted to using heroin and fentanyl earlier in the morning.
The drug and pieces of drug paraphernalia were found in the bedroom and Richmond was arrested.
It was determined that the drugs came from Richmond’s stash, so she was charged with Possession of Fentanyl with intent to deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Now that the autopsy has been completed, Richmond has officially been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide.
