The NEW Zoological Society will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the new Lee and Kathy Anderson Giraffe Lodge.
The ceremony will feature the president of the New Zoological Board of Directors, the New Zoo director, and the project lead donors Lee and Kathy Anderson.
Following the ribbon cutting, Zuri and Nigel, two giraffes, will be welcomed into the space.
The new lodge has 3,640 square feet of indoor exercise space and hay storage and will allow the zoo to welcome additional giraffes in the future.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on July 25th at 10:30 a.m. at the NEW Zoo in Green Bay.
