A Manitowoc woman charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide in a drug overdose death this spring is due back in court for a preliminary hearing next month.
Sylvia Richmond appeared with her Public Defender in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Monday afternoon for an initial hearing.
Police responded to Richmond’s residence on Green Street in Manitowoc back in May and upon arrival located a deceased male in the basement bathroom.
She had admitted to using fentanyl and heroin with authorities located the drugs and pieces of drug paraphernalia in the bedroom.
The First-Degree Reckless Homicide charge was filed last week upon completion of the autopsy.
Richmond remains in The County Jsil on $75,000 cash and her preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 3rd at 10:30 a.m.
