Day one of the Taylor Schabusiness trial in Green Bay was filled with testimony, and video evidence.
One of the most notable moments came when the first responding officer took the stand.
He told the story of him and another officer getting the call from Shad Thyrion’s mother and her boyfriend reporting her son’s head in a bucket.
Body camera footage was shown in the courtroom showed the two officers speaking with the couple, with the boyfriend saying he lifted up the towel covering the bucket and dropped it upon seeing the head.
The officers then go to the basement of the home where they found the aforementioned black five-gallon bucket.
One of the officers even asked out loud if it was real.
