Green Bay Police believe that the death of a two-year-old child last week on the city’s east side is accidental.
Officers were dispatched last Thursday afternoon to a residence in the 600 block of Irwin Avenue for a child who was unconscious and not breathing.
Witnesses had reported the child was found entangled in a pull cord attached to bedroom blinds and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office has certified the case as an accidental asphyxia death,
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains active.
