The Manitowoc County Master Gardeners will be hosting a plant clinic at the Manitowoc Public Library.
The Master Gardeners are a group of 20 trained gardeners who volunteer their skills for many projects throughout the county.
The credentials as Master Gardeners are administered by the University of Wisconsin extension.
The title is received after in-depth horticulture training from UW-Extension as well as passing an exam.
Master Gardeners must also stay up to date with 10 hours of continuing horticulture education each year.
The plant clinic allows the public to ask questions about all things gardening. This year’s plant clinics will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, and Tuesday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Manitowoc Public Library.
More information on the Master Gardeners can be found on their Facebook page.
