With the Shoreland League regular season in the books, the league has announced individual awards as voted on by the league’s managers.
Jereme Jensen of the Denmark Devilbears was selected as the league’s Most Valuable Player.
For the 7th time in his illustrious career, Bandits ace Luke Mandich was named Shoreland Pitcher of the Year.
The voting for batting champion was very close with Manitowoc’s Carter Stebane narrowly edging out Ashwaubenon’s Josh LaFleur and the Bandits Ky Mueller was named Rookie of the Year.
Also, the All-Shoreland team includes 3 Manitowoc players: second baseman Ben Coons, shortstop Carter Stebane and pitcher Luke Mandich and the Denmark trio of third baseman Jereme Jensen and outfielders Hayden Konkol and Bryce Urbanek.
Ryan Steffel of the Devilbears was chosen Manager of the Year.
Two Bandits players were named Honorable Mention.
They are Jaicee Foster and Earl Vorpagel.
Award winners will be honored prior to the first game of the Shoreland League Championship Series on Monday, August 7th.
