A 23-year-old rookie police officer in Glendale has been dismissed from his job and is now facing child pornography charges.
Jonathan Angle was charged this week by prosecutors in Waukesha County after they discovered that he had uploaded an inappropriate image in March.
Angle had joined the Glendale PD in August of the previous year, but he was promptly fired after his arrest on Monday.
If convicted, Angle could be subjected to a mandatory-minimum three-year prison sentence.
Currently, he is out on a $5,000 cash bond while the legal proceedings are ongoing.
The authorities are taking the matter seriously, and the case will proceed through the legal system.
