The Manitowoc County Soil and Water Conservation Department announced they will be holding an informational meeting meant to unite farmers for soil and water quality, and farm productivity.
The meeting will be held at 1 pm at the Manitowoc County Office Complex Room 300, located at 4319 Expo Drive on August 10th.
The goal of the meeting is to bring together farmers interested in developing locally led and farmer-driven solutions to enhance soil and water quality, as well as profitability.
Participants can share their ideas, concerns, and experiences with fellow farmers to achieve the common goal of protecting the county’s soil and water resources, while also maintaining productivity.
All farmers are welcome to attend, regardless of their farming techniques or scale.
