A Manitowoc woman is facing charges for allegedly abusing a man she was living with. Manitowoc Police report they were called to a home on Grand Avenue Tuesday (Aug 8th) in the early morning hours for a report of a domestic abuse incident. The 38-year-old woman and the 32-year-old man reportedly had been drinking at a local bar, then walked to the residence. When they arrived, she allegedly began screaming at him. He eventually went to bed and was awakened by her attempting to choke him. She allegedly also punched him and tore out chunks of his beard. Police are charging her with disorderly conduct, battery, and felony bail jumping.
