Police arrested a woman in Manitowoc last night and she is now facing numerous drug charges. Around 6:30 last night an officer saw the 35-year-old woman put some objects in the seat compartment of a moped and start riding away around the intersection of 21st and Marshall streets. Since the moped did not have a license plate, a traffic stop was conducted. Police found drug paraphernalia and substances later tested to be methamphetamine, fentanyl, and suboxone. The woman was arrested and is in custody at the Manitowoc County Jail. Due to the volume of the illegal substances police are charging her with possession with intent to deliver, along with possession of drug paraphernalia and both felony and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping.
