With over 200 cats and kittens under the roof of the Lakeshore Humane Society in Manitowoc, they are always in need of supplies.
Shelter Director of the Lakeshore Humane Society, Tina Nichols tells Seehafer News the organization will work to “Stuff a Van” at Fleet Farm on September 9th from 11 until 3.
“We bring our van along with volunteers and some dogs,” she explained. “Our goal is to stuff our van from top to bottom, front to back, with needed supplies.”
The humane society is looking for any donations of pet supplies, but as Nichols explains, that can also mean cleaning supplies
“We are doing laundry 13 hours of day, so think how much laundry soap is being used and bleach is being used, and then Windex and paper towels, and of those items that we all use on a regular basis,” she said. “We all go through a bottle of laundry soap in maybe a month, here we go through one in a few days or a weeks’ time.”
