The public library in Two Rivers is inviting the public to celebrate the unveiling of a new feature today.
In early 2023, the Lester Public Library was the recipient of the West Foundation’s $50,000 Director’s Choice Imaging Grant.
The library’s submission detailed a project to promote early literacy and environmental awareness in partnership with the city of Two-Rivers Parks and recreation department and Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve.
The StoryWalk unveiling will take place at two locations, both at Zander Park and Lester Public Library.
Each family present will receive a storybook as well as the chance to win raffle prizes that include things such as binoculars and bug books.
The event will take place from 1:30-4:30 p.m. today and will be accompanied by a brat fry on the library lawn from noon to 3:00 p.m.
