Another person died at Devil’s Lake State Park this week.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, an individual was descending a hill within the park on Wednesday evening when an unexpected ‘malfunction’ occurred, resulting in the cyclist being thrown onto the road.
Tragically, the authorities discovered the lifeless body of the cyclist on the road shortly thereafter.
The identity of the individual has not been disclosed by the sheriff’s office, nor have they revealed the person’s gender.
Investigators have noted that the cyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
This fatality comes just a day after a hiker suffered a fatal fall at the same park on Tuesday.
