Wisconsin’s unemployment rate experienced a slight uptick last month.
According to the most recent data provided by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Wisconsin’s unemployment rate rose from 2.5 percent in June to 2.6 percent.
The DWD also reported that Wisconsin’s job market expanded by around 11,000 positions, contributing to a rise in the labor participation rate to 65.5 percent.
This represents a 0.5 percent increase compared to the figures from June.
