The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Tennis team posted a pair of wins Saturday (August 19th) at an invitational meet at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.
The Ships of Coach Stephanie Henschel began the competition with a 7-nothing domination of Fond du Lac.
Then, Lincoln prevailed over Wauwatosa East 5-to-2 with singles victories from Olivia Minikel, Jordin Popp, Molly Forkins who was a 3-set winner in her match, and Allison Gates.
Manitowoc’s #1 doubles tandem of Taylor Peterson and Zylia Kleinfeldt earned another victory in straight sets.
Lincoln (4-0 on the young season) returns to action later this week competing in another invitational, this time hosted by Green Bay Preble Thursday and Friday.
