Master Lock is scheduled to conclude its operations in Milwaukee on March 29th of the upcoming year.
Recent developments indicate that the company has formally solidified its intentions to shutter its facility situated on the north side of Milwaukee.
The process of staff reductions is slated to commence in November and will persist until the plant’s closure next March.
A total of 325 employees will be affected by these layoffs.
In its communication with the state, Master Lock attributed the decision to close the facility as a “business choice,” emphasizing that it does not reflect any shortcomings in the caliber of the workforce in Milwaukee.
