More details have emerged regarding the stolen semi-truck pursuit that unfolded in central Wisconsin last Friday.
The State Patrol provided additional information yesterday, revealing that a 47-year-old individual named Michael Jones, hailing from St. Louis, was responsible for the theft.
Jones took possession of the truck after being terminated from his position. He proceeded to drive the stolen truck with a woman still inside, and their journey led them to the Dells.
According to the State Patrol, the woman had been engaged in cleaning out the truck when Jones unexpectedly entered the vehicle.
Despite her pleas for him to release her, he declined to comply.
State troopers ultimately intervened, bringing the truck to a halt and apprehending Jones.
He is currently facing a range of charges, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety and false imprisonment.
