A Manitowoc man who fled from police has been sentenced.
32-year-old James D. Hagenow was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer and was ordered by Judge Jerilyn Dietz to spend 90 days in jail followed by a year of extended supervision.
An officer was on patrol in the 2600 block of Dewey Street when they spotted Hagenow, whom they knew from previous contacts.
The officer was informed that Hagenow had an open warrant in Sheboygan County, but as they approached Hagenow, he fled into a wooded area near Felician Village.
He was later arrested at his home.
Judge Dietz also ordered Hagenow to complete the CORE Treatment Program and maintain absolute sobriety.
