A Sturgeon Bay woman received serious injuries after a head-on car crash in the town of Forestville in Door County.
Door County Sheriff’s Deputy Patrick McCarty says on Wednesday afternoon, a 17-year-old Sturgeon Bay man was trying to turn his SUV into a driveway on Highway 42 south of Center Road and entered the path of the 29-year-old woman’s car.
The vehicles collided before coming to a stop.
The woman was taken to the Door County Medical Center before being taken to a Green Bay hospital.
The teen was also taken to the Door County Medical Center with less serious injuries.
Highway 42 was closed for about four hours while the crash was investigated by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The incident is still under investigation.
