The Xfinity store on Washington Street in Manitowoc has been remodeled.
Representatives from Comcast/Xfinity and employees held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the remodeled store Thursday morning.
Midwest Sales and Marketing VP Rachel Johnson says the old store wasn’t as exciting to walk into.
“It was a little bit like you were getting your driver’s license renewed” she joked. “So, we wanted to bring like technology and excitement into the store.”
She says this store allows Xfinity to show off its products and services in a better environment.
“We remodeled the store, brought in great color, TVs, and demo products so customers can come in and see our TV service in person,” she noted. “They can also see the mobile devices that we offer and touch them. They can also see the colors offered and could leave with their phone from the store.”
The store also includes an area that shows off internet packages as well.
Johnson says the location also allows people who go to people’s homes to provide internet to work out of the building.
