A Fond du Lac man has been arrested for his role in a shooting earlier this month.
According to Lieutenant Pete Vergos of the North Fond du Lac Police Department, the shooting occurred on September 4th in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue in the Village of North Fond du Lac.
The 19-year-old suspect, whose name was not given, appears to have walked from a home in the City of Fond du Lac to the site of the shooting and fired five rounds into an occupied living room.
Multiple search warrants were served in response to the shooting, which resulted in two arrests and the seizure of an unspecified number of firearms and ammunition.
LT Vergos also noted that his team was assisted by the Fond du Lac County Sherrif’s Office, the City of Fond du Lac Police Department, and by special agents with the Department of Justice.
The names of those arrested have not been released.
