Two local girls volleyball teams are rated in the 3rd weekly Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association Poll.
In Division-1, Manitowoc Lincoln fell one place to #5 in the state after going 1-and-2 in their own Quadrangular meet at the JFK Fieldhouse Saturday.
Besides the Ships, the power-packed field also included top-ranked DSHA, 6th-ranked Arrowhead, and Fond du Lac.
Bay Port, which was 6th a week ago, drops to #8 in this week’s rankings.
The Division-3 poll finds the Howards Grove Tigers #2 in the state trailing St. Croix Falls. St. Mary Catholic is 8th this week.
The State Division-2 leader is Xavier, followed in order by Appleton neighbor Fox Valley Lutheran and Luxemburg-Casco.
Notre Dame is ranked #9.
And, in Division-4, Columbus Catholic holds the top spot.
