Two Manitowoc Lincoln sports teams broke out the brooms yesterday.
First in FRCC Girls Tennis action, the Ships swept past Sheboygan South at Lincoln Park Thursday (last) night.
With their 7-0 victory, the Ships of Coach Stephanie Henschel improve to 12 and 4 overall, 4 and 2 in conference play.
And in FRCC Girls Volleyball, Lincoln blanked Green Bay Southwest 3 games to 0.
The Ships prevailed over the host Trojans 25-14, 25-11 and 25-12.
Stat leaders for Lincoln (5 and 2 overall, 2 and 0 in conference) included Maddie York and Nena Swoboda with 11 and 10 kills respectively, Laurin Hamann had 10 Digs, York had 3 Aces, Grace Fruzen turned in 29 Assists while Swoboda, York, Ethnie Charles, and Maddie Johnson each had 1 Block.
