A 52-year-old Appleton man died after being hit by a semi late last week.
According to police reports, a 41-year-old man from Middle Island, NY was driving a Freightliner semi-tractor and trailer on I-41 in Grand Chute which struck the Appleton man at around 8:00 Friday morning.
First Responders were called to I-41, but they were unable to revive the pedestrian in time.
The accident is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
