Don’t listen to the false rumors.
The Singin’ in the Rain screenings are on today and tonight at Manitowoc’s Capitol Civic Centre.
Apparently, someone called in to WOMT’s Open Mic program on Monday and said they heard the shows were canceled.
The Capitol’s Marketing Director, Lori Kirby, said that set off a number of calls to the box office.
But, as advertised, the 1952 movie, Singin’ in the Rain, can be seen this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and again tonight at 7:00.
Kirby also mentioned they will be serving popcorn for both shows.
And, she pointed out their first movie screening, Gone With the Wind, last Tuesday was a hit and they’re planning for a repeat.
