A 56-year-old woman is dead after a single-vehicle car crash Wednesday morning in the town of Sheboygan.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Sergeant Timothy McNeil says police were called to the 700 block of Weiss Street around 11:14 a.m. after witnesses saw a vehicle leaving the road traveling off a cliff and entering Lake Michigan.
The woman died at the scene.
There was no one else in the vehicle.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
The name of the woman isn’t being released until next of kin are notified.
