Law enforcement officials in Eau Claire County are intensifying their efforts to locate a potentially dangerous individual who has evaded capture for the past few days.
The search for 28-year-old Mitchell Henke was initiated on Saturday night, and despite ongoing efforts, authorities have not yet located him as of last night.
Eau Claire County mobilized the SWAT team after Henke allegedly assaulted a woman and her child on Saturday evening.
Initially, it was believed that Henke had taken refuge in his residence, but subsequent investigations revealed otherwise.
Henke’s photographs have been disseminated online, with the Sheriff’s Office cautioning the public to consider him armed and dangerous.
