The Manitowoc County Fish and Game Association is accepting applications for this year’s FORWARD Grant program.
$9,000 in total funding will be available for this giving cycle. Applications will be accepted until the end of the year.
The association founded FORWARD, which stands for Friends of Resources, Wildlife, and Recreational Development, 30 years ago to help benefit projects that help the environment.
Education programs and anyone wanting to do a major project can apply.
However, the project must have ties to hunting, fishing, and conservation and must be based in the county.

Over $145,000 in grants have been awarded by the trust so far.
