A deputy from western Wisconsin is currently facing a series of serious charges related to a domestic incident that occurred last week.
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Deputy Ryan Schick is now confronting allegations of domestic battery, false imprisonment, strangulation, and stalking.
Given his employment with Sawyer County, the investigation into these charges is being overseen by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
At present, Schick is in custody at the county jail, and no specific information has been provided regarding his forthcoming appearance before a judge.
